The exciting Hyundai i30 N hot hatch has received its second facelift, but unfortunately, it will remain unavailable in the United States. What upgrades can buyers in other markets expect for 2025? Let’s explore.
At the front, Hyundai’s engineers have played with the shape of the air intakes, giving them a sharper look with bright red accents. The lip design has also been updated to include matte grey and red highlights. Additionally, the front grille has been redesigned and now features Hyundai’s new matte black flat-look badges.
All 2025 i30 N models now come standard with updated 19-inch forged wheels finished in matte grey.
The interior has undergone some minor updates as well. It now features the same fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster found in the i30 N Sedan, complementing the existing 10.25-inch infotainment display. The optional suede, leather, and Alcantara N bucket seats have been refreshed, and a new gloss black trim has been added around the shifter. Additionally, a red NGS button for the ‘N Grin Shift’ boost function has been added to the steering wheel.
In markets like Australia, the new model now includes the Hyundai Bluelink connected car services program. This feature adds Automatic Collision Notification, Emergency Call, Connected Routing with live traffic updates, Alert services, and over-the-air software updates. The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system has been upgraded with new front radar sensors and a camera mounted behind the windshield. The 2025 i30 N also comes standard with Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert, Driver Attention Warning, and Multi-Collision Braking.
There are no changes to the i30 N’s powertrain, which remains unchanged and sufficient. It continues to use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 206 kW (276 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 392 Nm (289 lb-ft) of torque between 2,100 and 4,700 rpm. The hot hatch is still available with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
