Cadillac’s Boldest New Luxury Isn’t a Feature — It’s a Backseat Dining Experience

Who wouldn’t enjoy a great meal while relaxing in the IQ’s massage seats?

Luxury carmakers have long aimed to transform their vehicles into lifestyle statements — and Cadillac is taking that ambition to new heights with a dining experience that’s more about indulgence than transportation. The all-electric Escalade IQ is already one of the most opulent SUVs on the market, and now Cadillac is out to prove just how lavish it can be.

To showcase the Escalade IQ’s upscale appeal, Cadillac is expanding its unique “Cadillac of Reservations” experience — an exclusive backseat fine dining event where guests enjoy gourmet meals inside the plush cabin of the IQ.

Sure, most people have only ever unwrapped a fast-food burger in their cars, but Cadillac envisions something far more refined. Partnering with top-tier restaurants in Beverly Hills, Miami, and San Francisco, the brand is offering five-course meals served on the IQ’s retractable tray tables.

It may sound unconventional, but there’s undeniable charm in savoring a luxurious dinner from the comfort of a Cadillac SUV — reclining seats, massage and heating functions engaged, and the 40-speaker AKG sound system playing curated music to complement each course. It’s a dining experience that offers more intimacy and style than your average restaurant.

The “Cadillac of Reservations” launched in New York City with a collaboration featuring COQODAQ’s signature fried chicken. The experience now heads to Beverly Hills on April 24, 25, and 26, where La Dolce Vita — an Italian-American hotspot popular with Hollywood elites — will serve up the next round of luxury meals. Each evening offers just three seatings for two guests, with reservations available later this month via Resy.com.

Cadillac’s Boldest Luxury Yet: A Gourmet Backseat Dining Experience

After Beverly Hills, Cadillac brings the roving restaurant to Miami in early summer with COTE, a modern fusion of Korean barbecue and American steakhouse. Then, in late summer, the experience wraps up in San Francisco, where State Bird Provisions — known for its inventive modern American cuisine — will take over the culinary reins.

While the Escalade IQ is already a fitting venue for this high-end experience, the recently revealed Escalade IQL might be even more ideal, thanks to its extended length (4.2 inches/107 mm longer), providing extra space for an even more luxurious ride.
