Two special editions feature enhanced equipment, custom graphics, and a choice between 360 hp or 710 hp supercharged engines, with prices reaching up to $113,000
The V8-powered Charger and Challenger have already been discontinued, and Dodge is now phasing out the Hemi in the Durango SUV as well. However, not before marking 20 years of the Durango’s partnership with the Hemi V8 through two special edition muscle SUVs.
In January, Dodge introduced the Last Call Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI, a limited-edition SUV equipped with a 6.4-liter, 475 hp V8. Now, the SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and R/T 20th Anniversary editions are continuing the celebration with the remaining V8 engines in the Durango lineup.
The Silver Bullet is built on the flagship Durango Hellcat, boasting a monstrous 710 hp from its 6.2-liter supercharged engine. It marks the first special edition of the supercharged Durango. Meanwhile, the more affordable R/T 20th Anniversary edition features a tamer, naturally aspirated 5.7-liter Hemi, delivering 360 hp.
The Silver Bullet models feature a satin black hood, metallic gray SRT Hellcat badging, black SRT exhaust tips, a rear Dodge badge, red six-piston Brembo brake calipers, and 20-inch wheels with a “Lights Out” finish. Inside, Ebony Red Nappa leather seats with SRT Hellcat logos make their first appearance in a Durango, complemented by carbon fiber interior trim, a suede steering wheel, and a matching suede headliner.
If all that sounds appealing but the $113,325 price tag – $6k more than the 2024’s priciest Durango Hellcat – doesn’t, the R/T 20th Anniversary edition offers a similar vibe at around 60% of the cost (see gallery below). While you’re only getting half the Hellcat’s power, the R/T still delivers with its black Hemi hood graphic, “345” fender badges, and 20-inch Y-spoke forged Brass Monkey wheels.
Additional anniversary features include carbon interior trim, second-row captain’s chairs, and Dodge’s Tow N Go package, which upgrades the chassis and brakes, boosting towing capacity to 8,700 lbs (up from 7,400 lbs). Pricing starts at $66,970, excluding destination fees, with the option to go Premium for $70,470, adding a better sound system and enhanced safety features.
