Honda Brings Back New Parts for Vintage Models, Starting With the Iconic NSX

The program kicks off next spring and will eventually expand to cover “other sports car models.”

Honda wants to help keep your old NSX running well into the future. Starting in Spring 2026, the automaker will launch a new parts supply program for select discontinued models—kicking off with the first-generation NSX. Alongside the new parts, Honda will also introduce a restoration service that uses them.

While specific components haven’t been confirmed, Honda hints that not all parts will be original OEM. The company says it’s become “increasingly difficult” to supply genuine parts for older vehicles, so the new program will offer what it calls “genuine compatible parts.” That includes alternatives produced with help from partners, possibly using methods like remanufacturing and 3D printing.

These replacement parts will still meet Honda’s quality standards for function and performance and will be distributed globally. The move follows the discontinuation of the long-running “NSX Refresh Plan,” which ends this summer after being offered since 1993.

Honda plans to extend the restoration and parts program to other sporty models, though it hasn’t revealed which ones or when. More details are expected this fall—just in time to start hunting for a classic NSX in need of some love.
