Hot Wheels Is Finally Producing Official Formula 1 Cars

There will be a series of toy cars that feature various teams

Hot Wheels has partnered with Formula 1, meaning fans will finally get miniature F1 cars. The first model is already available, and while it’s not linked to a specific team, it offers a glimpse of what’s to come.

The small F1 car features three sets of interchangeable Real Rider wheels, all fitted with Pirelli-branded tires, just like the full-size versions. It sports a white body, black interior, and a special Hot Wheels livery with the number 68 on the nose, commemorating the year Mattel launched the brand.

Mattel will package the car on an illustrated blister card, inspired by the original 16 Hot Wheels models. Additionally, the F1 car will come in a Kar Keepers clamshell case for added protection.

The first car is priced at $25, and pre-orders are available now. Mattel is limiting purchases to two per customer. According to the website, the car will ship by June 27, 2025, and will be the first in a series of race cars from the Hot Wheels and Formula 1 partnership.

A full lineup of Hot Wheels F1 cars representing various teams is expected, along with other racing-themed products. More 1:64-scale cars are set to launch next year.
