Subaru is expanding the BRZ lineup for 2025 with the introduction of the new Series.Purple special edition. Set to debut at Subiefest Texas on October 19, this model will be limited to just 500 units.
Although Subaru has only shared a teaser image, they confirmed the coupe will feature a distinctive Galaxy Purple Pearl exterior with black badging. The special edition will also come with exclusive 18-inch wheels finished in satin silver.
The enhancements extend to the interior, featuring front sport seats with black Ultrasuede upholstery contrasted by gray leather bolsters. Additional details include gray contrast stitching, a red STI start button, and an aluminum shift knob.
As the special edition is built on the Limited trim, buyers can expect a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch infotainment system. Other features include a premium audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats.
The 2025 Subaru BRZ Series.Purple is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 228 hp (170 kW / 231 PS) and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission featuring an STI short-throw shifter.
For enhanced performance, the special edition includes a flexible V-bar under the hood, along with a limited-slip differential and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 summer tires.
Arriving at U.S. dealerships early next year, the 2025 BRZ Series.Purple will start at $35,445, a $1,700 premium over the Limited trim’s $33,745 price.
