With vintage-inspired styling and limited production, the 55th Anniversary Edition is made for collectors

The beloved Suzuki Jimny is slowly disappearing from European roads due to tightening emissions regulations and its lack of electrification. In recent years, it was sold only as a two-seater commercial vehicle to remain compliant.
Before it exits the market, Suzuki has launched a special 55th Anniversary Edition in France, limited to just 55 units. Aimed at collectors, this edition features retro styling details like Suzuki-lettered grilles, side decals, red mud flaps, a Rhino-branded spare tire cover, and black steel wheels. It comes in four colors: White, Jungle Green, Bluish Black, and Medium Gray.

Inside, the model includes rubber floor mats, a commemorative console plaque, a leather travel journal, and a special key ring. Based on the Privilège trim, it offers comfort features like A/C, heated seats, Bluetooth, and driver-assist tech, though it skips the larger infotainment screen and LED lights.
Powered by the familiar 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine (101 hp) paired with a 5-speed manual and Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system, the Jimny remains a capable off-roader.

Priced at €28,955 ($33,200), the limited edition arrives in France this month. Similar special editions have popped up in other global markets, but Suzuki has not confirmed if or when the Jimny will receive a replacement or electrified update—despite earlier plans for a hybrid or EV version.
As it stands, the Jimny’s legacy in Europe ends with its most charming and collectible chapter yet.
