The €24,990 Spiaggina boasts an open-air design and a removable roof
Microlino first revealed the Spiaggina concept at the 2022 Paris Motor Show and has now returned to the 2024 event to showcase the production model. Marketed as an exclusive summer car, it draws inspiration from the Citroën Méhari and Fiat 600 Jolly.
Built for beach outings, the Spiaggina is based on the standard model but features an open-air design with no side or rear windows. It also includes a fabric roof that can be rolled back or fully removed in just a few simple steps.
The compact EV will debut in a First Edition version, featuring a two-tone exterior in White and Portofino Blue or Black and Sardinia Sage. Inside, it boasts a two-tone vegan leather interior that is “especially resistant to moisture.”
The two-seater includes a faux wood floor, a digital instrument cluster, and a three-spoke steering wheel. Additionally, it offers a small trunk with 8.1 cubic feet (230 liters) of storage space.
The power comes from a 10.5 kWh battery pack, which powers an electric motor that produces 17 hp (12.5 kW / 17 PS). This setup allows the model to travel up to 110 miles (177 km) on a single charge and reach speeds of up to 56 mph (90 km/h).
Pricing for the Microlino Spiaggina First Edition starts at €24,990 (approximately $27,300 at current exchange rates), with the first deliveries expected in the spring of 2025. Although the model is primarily targeted at European markets, the company has hinted at potential availability in the U.S. in the future.
