Ferrari’s new Piloti 296 Speciale channels 499P styling and boasts a bespoke cabin

Ferrari took the stage at the 24 Hours of Le Mans to reveal a new Piloti Ferrari version of the 296 Speciale. Developed through the brand’s Tailor Made program, this exclusive configuration is reserved for clients directly involved in Ferrari’s official motorsport activities—whether competitive or not.
Designed for those who experience the thrill of the track firsthand, the Piloti Ferrari draws clear inspiration from the 499P race car, which clinched Hypercar class victories at Le Mans in both 2023 and 2024.

The model is available in four motorsport-inspired shades: Rosso Scuderia, Blu Tour De France, Nero Daytona, and Argento Nürburgring. Each comes with a 499P-style livery featuring Giallo Modena highlights, a hand-painted WEC logo, an Italian flag motif on the front bumper, and a race-style number chosen by the owner.

Inside, the racing theme continues with black Alcantara bucket seats accented in the same fireproof material used in professional race suits. Additional bespoke touches include a carbon fiber identification plaque, custom carbon door sills, aluminum floor inserts, and an Italian flag serving as a center stripe on the steering wheel—complete with selectable race numbers.

Underneath the bespoke styling, the powertrain remains unchanged. The 296 Speciale features a plug-in hybrid setup with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, a 7.45 kWh battery, an electric motor, and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Combined, the system delivers 868 hp (648 kW / 880 PS) and an electric-only range of 15.6 miles (25 km). It accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.8 seconds and can exceed 205 mph (330 km/h) flat out.
