Yes, This New V-12 Supercar Comes With a Manual

The GP1 by Garagisti & Co Is an 800-HP Manual Hypercar, Limited to 25 Units

Everywhere you look, there’s a new electric supercar boasting outrageous horsepower and silent 0–60 runs. Yet, despite the spectacle, buyers aren’t falling for them. While an electric sedan may make sense, a top-tier performance car demands real, mechanical sound.

That’s where the GP1 from British newcomer Garagisti & Co comes in—even if, for now, it’s only a rendering.

Built around a naturally aspirated 6.6-liter V-12 from Italian motorsport firm Italtecnica, the GP1 delivers 800 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and more than 516 lb-ft of torque. No turbos, no batteries—just pure combustion. A six-speed Xtrac manual sends power to the rear wheels, with the entire car weighing just 2,204 pounds. Brembo brakes, Öhlins suspension, and other motorsport-grade components round out the package.

Stylistically, it’s a tribute to the golden age of wedge design. Ex-Bugatti and Rimac designer Angel Guerra drew inspiration from icons like the Lancia Stratos Zero and Lamborghini Countach. The result is a sharp, purposeful shape with massive aerodynamic elements—most notably, a huge rear diffuser, quad exhausts, and X-shaped LED taillights.

Inside, the GP1 is minimalist to the core: no big screens, no gimmicks—just essential controls, a traditional shifter, and a driver-focused layout. “Just you, the car, and the road ahead,” says Guerra.

Only 25 GP1s will be built, each starting at about $3.3 million before taxes and customization. The first 12 buyers get into Garagisti’s “Open Doors” program, granting rare behind-the-scenes access to the car’s creation. Deliveries begin in the coming months.
