It’s not only the most luxurious version of the Zeekr 009, but also the priciest, with a starting price of $123,000

Minivans might seem like a niche market, but in China, they’re a big deal—especially in the luxury space. Automakers are in a fierce race to create the most upscale offerings, and Geely is making a bold statement with its latest creation: the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector Edition. This high-end electric van flaunts 24K gold accents and ultra-premium Alpaca wool carpets, positioning it as a true luxury icon on wheels.
Measuring 5,217 mm (205.4 inches) in length, the Grand Collector Edition builds on last year’s Zeekr 009 Grand. What sets this trim apart are the striking gold embellishments found on the bumpers, window surrounds, and side skirts—all contrasted against a sleek black exterior. Even the badging and Rolls-Royce-inspired 20-inch wheels are dipped in gold, just in case the message of opulence wasn’t clear enough.

The cabin is where things get truly extravagant. The highlight? The floor is covered in plush carpets made from the neck and shoulder wool of young alpacas living at 13,000 feet in the Andes of Peru. If that sounds like overkill, just wait until you sink your feet into them—assuming you take your shoes off, of course.
The interior offers a four-seat layout with ultra-comfortable captain’s chairs in the rear. These seats are 24-way adjustable and include leg rests, retractable tables, and eight massage modes. A massive 43-inch 4K display, electrochromic glass, and a 31-speaker Yamaha sound system add to the indulgence, alongside an 18-liter compartment with heating, cooling, and sterilization functions.

Under the Hood: Power Meets Prestige
Performance hasn’t been overlooked either. Dual electric motors deliver 778 horsepower (580 kW) and 810 Nm (597 lb-ft) of torque, launching the 009 from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds—a jaw-dropping stat for a minivan. Power comes from a 108 kWh CATL-sourced Qilin battery, offering up to 702 km (436 miles) of range on the Chinese CLTC cycle.

Price and Availability
All this luxury doesn’t come cheap. The Zeekr 009 Grand Collector Edition starts at ¥899,000 (around $123,000), making it ¥110,000 ($770) pricier than the already upscale Zeekr 009 Grand. Orders are now open in China, with deliveries set to begin in June 2025. The model will also be on display at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show.

In addition to the Grand Collector Edition, Zeekr has launched a right-hand-drive version of the 009, expanding its global reach. Meanwhile, the upcoming Zeekr 9X SUV is also in the pipeline, adding more depth to Geely’s growing premium EV portfolio.
