Aston Martins, Ferraris, Corvettes, G-Wagens—you name it. People are doing whatever they can to save their cars

Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall on Florida’s west coast Wednesday night, with officials predicting severe damage and flooding. Evacuation orders have been issued across much of the coastline, forcing residents to leave behind anything they can’t carry with them—including, in some cases, very expensive supercars.
Videos on TikTok offer a glimpse of these luxury cars abandoned as the storm approaches. The footage shows rows of Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, Corvettes, Ferraris, G-Wagens, Porsches, and more, packed into parking garages and left to weather the storm on their own.
Some owners aren’t fortunate enough to have access to garages. Yesterday, YouTuber Samcrac posted a video showing them rearranging their car collection into a safer spot on their property, away from trees, to avoid any damage if one falls. However, the cars will still face the full impact of the storm. Let’s hope that 599 pulls through unscathed.
It’s not just supercars being left behind. Owners unable to store or relocate their vehicles are parking them in high-elevation spots like bridges.
WVUE Fox 8 shared a photo on Facebook of cars parked on a bridge connecting St. Pete Beach to St. Petersburg. Meteorologist Craig Setzer also posted an image on X (formerly Twitter) showing dozens of cars lined up on the shoulder of a bridge in Pinellas County, where St. Petersburg is located.
