The 2019 Honda Ridgeline wasn’t a disaster year by any stretch of the imagination but it had a lot of electronics-related complaints, mostly surrounding the backup camera.
Numerous reports have stated that the wiring harness between body and tailgate was poorly designed and easily damaged causing wires to become exposed.
Subsequently, the backup camera would stop working or wouldn’t work properly, which is a safety hazard.
A number of owners also complained about the hood moving up and down or ‘fluttering’ on the highway.
